Yes, you are allowed to have up to two pets per unit. We have dog parks, dog daycare, and vets or premise to help you enjoy life with your best friend. There may be additional security deposits and fees per animal depending on your circumstance.
Only guests 55 and up are allowed to stay the night in your unit. All guests must be checked-in at security and agree to resort policies. Guests under the age of 55 are welcomed to stay at nearby hotels at a significantly reduced rate.
We will release interactive floorplans in Q1 2025. At that time, you will be able to select your preferred layout and make a VIP reservation along with a refundable deposit.
All invasive medical and dental procedures that require anesthesia will not be performed onsite. All medicare care is generally non-invasive or minimally invasive.
Yes, you can purchase a variety of assisted living packages depending on the level of care needed, including feeding, bathing, and other assistance. Santo do Mar does not offer memory care.
Brazil offers a retirement visa (also known as a pensioner visa) that allows foreigners aged 55 and above to live permanently in Brazil, provided they can prove a stable monthly income of at least US$2,000 from a pension, retirement fund, or similar guaranteed source (or US$2,500 if bringing a dependent). Applicants don't need to have worked in Brazil previously, but they must submit various documents including a clean criminal record, proof of income, valid passport, and health insurance coverage, along with completing the application process through a Brazilian consulate in their home country or through the Federal Police if already legally in Brazil.
Obtaining a retirement visa is required for those than plan to stay at Santo do Mar for more than 90 consecutive days per year.
